Workshop: What My Child is Trying to Tell Me

Come connect with Oak Bridge ABA at the Peace Love Autism Shop for an insightful, practical presentation developed specifically for families and caregivers. This session will help you make sense of daily behavior challenges, identify what your child is trying to tell you, and give you practical tools to support them. This training will provide tools that are applicable to supporting individuals of all ages.

MUST RSVP: hello@peaceloveautism.com

In this session, we will break down:

  • The four functions or ‘reasons’ behind behavior: Escape, Attention, Tangibles, and Automatic needs

  • How to use your daily observations and experiences to find patterns and plan ahead

  • How to meet your child where they are at to help them communicate their needs ahead of a crisis

  • Helpful strategies to use before triggers arise, and after escalation happens.

We want to give you real-world tools and encouragement you need to view your child's needs compassionately, leaving you prepared to be a support.

If you are trying to establish a smoother home routine or simply want actionable strategies for daily life, this session offers takeaways you can start using immediately.
